Each and every day our youth are assaulted by images of violence, death and mayhem in our streets. Desensitized by these visual conflicts, it is no wonder our young people are turning more and more to violence themselves. Many suffer at the hands of others; some take it out on their tormentors, some just take it out on themselves and chose to end their lives instead. No matter what the cause, the end result is the same, the more they see; the easier it is to accept this as their harsh reality.

It doesn't have to be that way. More and more we continue to hear about people who are making a difference, people who are standing up and saying "No More!" Television, radio, the internet; all these resources can continue to raise awareness and create that 'critical mass' necessary to propel these issues to the forefront of our minds. The Brandon Cole Foundation is just one more voice trying to make that happen!
