Brandon's Death
Brandon Charles Cole was born in Calgary, Alberta on April 12, 1991 and was tragically and suddenly taken home to the Lord on July 28, 2005. Brandon is survived by his parents, Lana (Mike) Bramley and Bill (Patti) Cole and his siblings Dallas and Dakota Bramley and Christie Ann Greenwood; Grandparents Wayne Syms, Sharon (Phil) Paschke and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Brandon is predeceased by his Grandparents Hubert and Mary Cole and his Aunt Janet Gross. Those who knew and loved him knew he had a heart of gold and a tenderness to him that most never saw. He deeply loved his family, especially his little brother and his new baby sister. He would regularly spend time between his Mom and Dad, his Grandpa and his siblings in Harmattan and his Dad and Mom in Rosedale. He knew how intensely we all loved him. Brandon was an active, curious young man with boundless energy, unless maybe there was work involved. Much to his parents chagrin, one of Brandon's favourite pastimes was playing video games. He also loved riding his horse, playing with his siblings and selling vegetables from his vegetable stand in the campground in Rosedale. Brandon most loved spending time with his Dad and Mom in Rosedale where he played with friends, swam in the river and generally just enjoyed being a teenager. Tragically, there was also daily suffering in Brandon's life that only those closest to him knew of. The strength God gave him was necessary for him to be strong enough to endure the challenges, pain and suffering he lived with daily. We as his parents were so proud of his strength and his ability to stick himself out there and "Dance Like No One Was Watching" We told him all the time how proud we were of who he was becoming and how much he was loved by his family. Brandon was one of the lucky ones in that he had 2 moms and 2 dads who loved him and worked together to do what was best for Brandon. We would do anything for him, whatever it took. Whether spending time with his family in Harmattan or with his family in Rosedale, Brandon was always most happy when surrounded by those who knew and loved him. Only a mom can pray daily for the Lord to bring Peace to her child, only a mother could know the ache deep within watching her child suffer with pain and loneliness, only a mother's love can be strong enough to say... "Be at Peace My Son and Go with God" We love you always and will see you again someday Services were held at The Church of the Nazarene in Olds, Alberta on Wed. Aug 3rd 2005 |
